   One of the things I don't do when it's time to read is to pickup a  paper   
   back novel. I'd much rather find something interesting to learn, like   
   technical material for the many interests I have.

   I found that I enjoyed moving around when I was younger, even twice with a   
   family. When I landed in San Diego, I decided that I wasn't going to leave   
   there. Unfortunately, liberal politics and cost of living made me look   
   elsewhere and I moved one more time. It's easy to make a move like that if   
   you're not burdened with a lot of material things, especially those things   
   that women like to keep forever. Tools, cars and parts go in the moving   
   van first, furniture and antiques go in last...pianos are donated to   
   the Goodwill, etc..

   Just saw an ad for a 71" HDTV on TV...tempting. A holodeck would be an   
   interesting toy, if it came with a time machine too.
