   the car   
   mVÌPVÿÿ>  sits, the more noticeable the ticking noise is.  Normally over 5   
   hours of   
   mVÌPVÿÿ>  sitting, you will hear it for about 30-60 seconds.  Then it goes   
   completely   
   mVÌPVÿÿ>  away.   
      
      
   Usually the amount of time it takes for oil to warm up and get into the valve   
   stem guides. Check oil level. Sometimes a common occurance for overhead cam   
   engines.
