RW> With that extra weight, you might have a problem balancing that HD,
RW> but you've also got those long legs, which should help you a little
    RW> bit.

Once I got it rolling it would be alright, but with my knees it would be
impracticle to ride something that heavy.

RN> I used to wonder why guys rode around on the BMW bikes with that
RN> humongous engine, but I suppose what's one man's chicken is another
    RN> man's egg. (-:

RW> They use that engine to keep their feet warm...

   ROTFL!

RN> How did you blow up the engine (if you remember)?

RW> It was the Bonneville crank that I had to have machined to get it
RW> to fit in the 52 engine cases. My guess is that the guy tossed it
RW> out of the lathe and that began a crack where the crankshaft broke
RW> into two pieces under the stress of racing a HD. Luckily the HD
RW> owner was also my room mate and he had a 59 El Camino and ramps for
RW> such an occasion. All I had at the time was a 57 Chevy convertible
RW> and no way to tow anything.

OW! I wish I still had my '57 Bel Air that I souped up.

While I'm at it, I'd like to mention that I'm selling my 1995 Lincoln Mark
VIII and I'll be driving my SIL's 1996 Mercedes-Benz C220, which he is going
to give me, so sometime this year it will be mine.

   Regards,
