   YEp, I'll sure ask him what the rationale is I get back to   
   the midwest and find him around somewhere though.  I know   
   he's been in the auto glass repair/replacement business for   
   a long time though, so I'm sure his reasons are quite good,   
   whatever their rationale.

   YEp, for the repairs that sure makes sense.  Replacements   
   though, the gasket material etc.    
   HE did me a good deal on a van windshield iirc, found one in a junker, but   
   then I'd also given him a real good deal on   
   radio spot production a year or so before that, and we used   
   to hang out together back in school days    
   But, you're right on the repair kits I"ve seen.
