   When I was in high school, I had a 1952 Triumph T-bird. It was a lot of   
   fun, but not practical during northern winters. In 1969, I bought another   
   52 in a basket. I put it together and married some 63 Bonneville parts to   
   the engine to modernize it a bit. I also put 12" longer forks on it, to   
   keep up with the times. That bike was also a lot of fun, but I blew up the   
   engine one day and it sat around gathering dust in my garage. This wasn't   
   the last time I heard one run as 10 years went by and I found a guy in San   
   Diego who collected them. This was about the time I had a Honda 400cc,   
   4cyl, c1982...
