If your Dodge had the Hemi V8 engine, it would have a dual coil over with
dual wires, one to a plug in the cylinder under it, the other to a plug in
the opposite bank. Yes, they have two plugs per cylinder. One coil fires
when the cylinder is near tdc, while an opposite coil will fire the 2nd
plug when that cylinder is on an exhaust stroke. All in the name of
emissions control. Someone told me a hundred years ago that the Chrysler
hemispherical combustion chamber was inefficient and I guess this proves
   it.
