TW> After the Audi 5000 sudden acelleration scare(Really terminally STUPID       TW> Driver Error) and the 60 Minute report I had 2 of those and thy were       TW> Excelent cars and saved me even more money.       TW> We used the "Saved Money" to pay off our 30 year Home Loan in 15 Years.              Smart plan! We have been using the saved money to do renovations/upgrades to       our house.               When my Monte Carlo had the antifreeze leak on the lower manifold, I had to       decide to fix it, replace the motor, or just unload it. I never really wanted       to unload it, but after going over the numbers, it was better to get the new       engine.               Unless you buy a sub-1000 dollar vehicle, you are upside down in practically       all vehicles from the minute you buy it. I know that I spent more on my car       for the new engine and transmission rebuild than I could sell it for at this       point, but the same could be said about a new car. I just keep thinking each       money that goes by with no car payments how much we are saving.. :)              Not to mention, I typically do enjoy working on cars. The only exception is       when I am in a rush and have no spare vehicle (like now). The Harley is nice,       but can't ride that in all conditions.. :)              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
