TW> Since it is a very slow leak it could be those fittings. If they are       TW> flare fittings just tightening them might help.              I see the "glow" in a circle around the A/C line itself where it meets this       junction type fitting. I didn't see any bolts, so not sure how it is       connected. The line runs right into this area. A picture would be better to       show what I mean.              TW> Some Tranny side CV joints are bolted and others have a oin that needs       TW> to be driven out with a punch.       TW> you can consider jsut replacing the Boot if it is the outer boot that is       TW> bad. I have done that on a VW Dasher/Audi Fox without touching the       TW> inner joint.              Mine isn't bolted and am almost sure it has one of the "C" type clips that       holds it in place on the shaft. It is the inner boot that is throwing a bit       of grease (closest to the transmission). There is also a very slight shimmy       at times when accellerating at high speeds which I'm sure is the same trouble       spot. It is very minor right now, but on my "watch" list. :)              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
