RW> Wasn't this a recent subject of an engine change? I'd take it back to the       RW> mechanic and tell him what it's doing. He'll probably want to pull the       RW> rocker cover and adjust the rocker, since you've already used the Lucas       RW> additive with no relief.              Yes, this is the rebuilt Jasper motor. It only does it on a cold start for       the first 30 seconds or so and then goes away.               I did call the shop to ask them, and he said the 3.4 V-6's do that often on       cold starts and not to worry about it unless it does it constantly. He said       if it starts doing it longer periods of time, to bring it in since it has a 3       year warranty.              I need to do another oil change soon, so will see if that makes any difference.       I only hear it for about 20-30 seconds after a cold start (been sitting for       longer than 8 hours).              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
