TW> That is becasue the Heating elements are only being 1/2 powered. IE: the       TW> 10,000 Watt heating element becomes a 5,000 Watt element on 110 power.       TW> Simple Ohms law aplication.              That makes sence. That would also explain why it would take twice as long to       heat up the hot tub at 110v. It was running at half power.              I work with large Cisco networking equipment at work. The large chassis can       can take different power supplies. Some will run at 110v or 220v. You can       buy a 4000 watt power supply that will run at 2000 watts if connected 110v or       the full 4000 watt if connected 220v. I assume that is due to the single vs.       dual phase connection?              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
