   Yes, it is a silicone type of rubber.  Its been through hell and back and it is   
   still by far the best air hose I've ever used.  When it gets tangled up, just   
   yank on it harder and most times it'll stretch just enough to get you where you   
   need to be; without kinking and preventing air flow.
