   My daughter has a 2000 Cougar which doesn't require anything like that to   
   drain the oil.  The drain screw on the oil pan isn't the original - probably   
   due to the threads being stripped in the pan.     
      
   Using the evacuator, there is no need to mess with that drain screw.
