Here is an update on various projects that I have completed on family vehicles       recently.               2002 Monte Carlo: Replaced fuel pump, blower motor resistor, complete brake       job with Centric rotors and Akebono pads - including new calipers which I       painted, new CV-half shafts (axles), new transmission cooler lines, new       Michelin Defender tires, and recently just had to repair a wire harness issue       which was causing the transmission to not function (stuck in 3rd gear) and       throwing a code.               Ended up being one wire that had rubbed through next to the A/C condensor. It       was not an easy job, but had to solder a new area of wire, then tape it all up       and reinforce with some wire harness sleeving. That repair saved a fortune,       as at first the problem seemed to be the transmission - except it threw (3)       trans codes at the same time. All (3) were on the same circuit on the harness.              2001 Durango: New power steering pump with cooler, had to replace the trailer       wiring harness due to a short in the box, new window regulator and master       control on the driver's side door.              I also helped my step-son replace a transmission range sensor switch on his       Honda yesterday.              Had lots of fun this summer!              - Mark               --- WWIVToss v.1.51         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
