RW>> So, what you're saying is that it is barely broken in...

I thought it wouldn't. The only permanent fix is to replace old seals with
new seals. I'm waiting on a call from Joel who will be taking the Camaro,
finding a leak and repairing it. The stop-leak I used in the AC system
didn't last a season, so in the shop it goes. If they would have put the
compressor on top, like my truck, I'd attempt to fix it, but getting to
the point where I can't get on a creeper anymore.

RW>> When I was looking for a suburban, most of what I was looking at

RW>> offered $2200. Sharon, his widow was even more generous with the
RW>> vehicle prices and only took $2k for it, handing me $200 in cash
    RW>> with the title.

RN> That was VERY nice of her.

She is very nice. When I was in her kitchen to pick up the papers, she
used my shoulder to cry on when we were talking about Les. I'll never
figure out how the two of them got together, because Les didn't have that
   great of a personality.

RW>> Les took very good care of his vehicles (he had 6) and the suburban
RW>> was freshly painted less than two years before his demise, so I
RW>> can't tell if the 98,000 odometer reading is just 98k or 198k...sad
RW>> to say that I told Les that he should have done better body work,
RW>> as it waves at you when it drives by. Other than that, it runs and
    RW>> drives like new.

RN> Does it have leaf or coil springs in the rear?

Suburbans have leaf springs, Tahoes have coils...Suburbans are about 18"
longer than a Tahoe and the towing load capacity is higher because of the
   difference in springs.
