Re: Software               > The springs will have nothing to do with the tire diameter or your speedo       > error.              Yes I didn't mean to give that impression but was perhaps unclear. Also, I       was probably brain dead after work... the tire size I meant to post was       245x75x16. On the Ford Escape Forum (escape-city.com) most folks say that       this tire fits with the advantage of giving a bit more ground clearance. I       have read much argument about changing suspension geometry on a car with       Independant suspension and the advantage of a taller tire helps decrease the       angle of the half shaft into the bearing, especially after raising the car up       a bit.               as for programs, the SCT X3 flash has good reviews for FORD. My car is       actually a Mazda however... don't really think there is anything FORD on it       except the badge and the faux Explorer front end.               Origin: Mysteria Majicka BBS; telnet://majicka.at2k.org; Virtual Advanced BBS       VirtualNet 1@141000; FidoNet 1:322/757 Cape Cod Massachusetts 10 nodes               --- Virtual Advanced Ver 2 for DOS         * Origin: Mysteria Majicka BBS (1:322/757)    |
