|    Power steering leak.    |

I took a look at the Durango power steering leak today. Had my wife turn the       steering wheel while the truck was running and I took a peep at the lines.              It does in fact have a decent leak on the high pressure line. Just in a few       minutes of running, it left a small puddle from the area that it was leaking.               I might order the stuff this week and will wait for a decent weekend to       install the new lines. It will probably take a few hours and it has been in       the 30s here lately - not exactly prime outside car working weather.               I would do it in my garage, but this will be too messy of a job for that.               The other thing is the dredded P0740 code that has re-appeared. I am going to       give it some more time and see of the stop-slip stuff can fix this issue.        More than likely, it will need a transmission rebuild.               Part of the issue is the mileage and age and having the radiator failure where       the antifreeze got into the tramission certainly didn't help. The truck has       155k on it.              The TCC seems to be having an issue. Overdrive not kicking in or not kicking       in all the time. A total rebuild with warranty will be around $2k - just like       it was for my Monte.              - Mark               --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
