ML>So .. I take the Buick to my friend. He jacks it up. Oops! It has an       ML>aluminum drive shaft! I've never seen this before and he tells me he cannot       ML>check, straighten it. As well, yes, I've had drive shafts custom balanced i       ML>Houston a hundred miles South of me in College Station, Texas. But welding       ML>balance weights and fooling with aluminum tubing? Hmmmmmm...              ML>Who should I listen to as to what they tell me about this? What are the       ML>thoughts here?              I agree with your friend to not mess with the Alumimum Drive shaft .       While it can be done the welding is tricky and you cold end up having to       buy a new one anyhow. OR have a custom driveshaft made, Unless there is       already is one in the after market.       ---        þ SLMR 2.1a þ Typo Tom Strkes Again        * Origin: Since 1991 And Were Still Here!
