   Most vehicles I can afford to run use enough oil that I'm   
   rotating fresh oil through there anyway .  YEah change the filter at   
   about double that, but otherwise, there's   
   enough fresh oil in the crankcase.  tHe GMC van Kathy just   
   rolled seemed to need a quart about every 3-4 runs to   
   MEmphis and back, figure round tripper on those 100 miles,   
   so by the time 3k miles rolled around between last oil   
   change  oil was changed out just in natural course of   
   events.
