That all depends on your perspective. We don't have the humidity of living
next to the Gulf like you do. Most of our temps are higher, but the
humidty is much lower, making the climate easier to live with. When we get
a south flow (air flows from the south) of weather, we get the humidity
that goes with it. But, we almost always get an western or north western
flow, which doesn't carry the humidity like you would find in Dallas and
   parts up north.

RN> And some places here, there are the independant owners still selling

That would be nice. Can't find any all petrol gasoline around here...

RWebb>> IF we use the golly gee whiz cool touchscreen technology pumps
RWebb>> she has to pump, and it takes us twice as long to gas up just
RWebb>> because we have to get her out of the van, on the ground, etc.

RN> I haven't seen those. Down here, you swipe your card and enter your
RN> pin number; then select the grade of gas you want.

   We have the option of swiping the card and then answering the question;
Credit or Debit. If credit, they ask for your zip code if debit, they ask
for your pin. Then they ask questions like, do you want to add a car wash
to your purchase, or a gasoline additive for more fuel economy, yes or no.
Finally they ask, would you like a reciept? I always answer Yes in every
instance on the receipt...then, after your card is approved, they tell you
to lift the pump handle and select the grade of gas you want. Wait a few
seconds and the selected fuel numbers change to all zeros and you're ready
   to pump...
