I offered the widow $2200 for it and she told me       RW> that was too much and she'd take $2k, no more. OK...fine with me.              Congratulations on your GMC purchase!              It certainly sounds like a good deal. It is not easy to find decent vehicles       these days for less than $4000.               I'm not in the market for a vehicle, but do watch the prices of Monte Carlos,       Trans AMs, and a few other cars. I wouldn't mind buying one that is in       perfect condition and everything works, but has a blown motor. If it could be       purchased cheap enough, it would be worth dropping a rebuilt motor in there.               My wife is probably going to buy a new car in the next year or so. We will       then have the truck as a spare - which is always handy to have.              Did you have to get the GMC inspected before you transfered the title? In MD       you have to do that - and they typically ding you for a few odds and ends.              - Mark              --- WWIVToss v.1.50         * Origin: http://www.weather-station.org * Bel Air, MD -USA (1:261/1304.0)    |
