   Been there...In the 80s I had a 79 Oldsmobile diesel (260ci not the   
   350ci), which needed the fuel-injecter pump rebuilt, twice. Took it to a   
   Chevrolet dealer in Poway at 8am and didn't get it back until after   
   service-bay closing time. Too late in the day for any 'adjustments'   
   that might be needed...Fortunately it was done right the first time.
