There must be a trick to it, then. When I had the transmission rebuilt, they
had to drop the sub-frame to lower it out. I'll find out this Thursday when
it will be getting the oil pan leak fixed.

I just checked it today, and it is still leaking - but very slight. Not even
enough to drip on the ground, just messing up the oil pan.

RW> Whatever the owner's manual tells you to use...

I didn't realize it, but my car calls for 5w-30. I have always been using
10w-30 - not that it is a big deal. I just never realized it called for 5w-30.

RW> It gets to 100 here for a few hours each day, usually late in the
RW> afternoon. The same for New Mexico, Arizona and California and they're 5

I'm glad we don't see 100 degrees very often here in MD. With out humidity,
   that gets really ugly.

I rode the bike home from work a few years ago on day when it was near 100
degrees with high humidity. Not fun.

Before I left work, I put wet paper towels on my head under my helmet to try
and minimize the heat on my head. On the highways, the temp was up in the 120
   range.

Finally got to ride it to work this past Friday. It was 48 degrees in the
morning, but in the 70s when I rode home.
