   I am betting it was something like the above reasoning where the "loses an i"   
   bug got it's start.   
      
   For the record neither $TZ nor $TZUTC output anything on any of the currently   
   used boxes and all are set to UTC by default so it is a nonissue.  It can be   
   done though if there really is a need for any of them.
