When I reply by netmail to that message with the point number, GoldEd
automatically uses the point address as the destination. So since the header
of a packed message doesn't have room for the point number part of the FTN
address, it seems the address from the MSGID is used for this. So it doesn't
seem like a good idea to add a random point number to the MSGID, unless it
really exists in the nodes system configuration, or it is ignored by the
   systems software...

   Bye, Wilfred.
