NB>> I'm willing to listen to a wide variety, as long as it's good

    MK> Agreed.

Which is why I'm willing to listen to the various radio shows on NCPR,
   up at the camp..... :)

NB>> I'm definitely more of a radio person, also... but I prefer the
    NB>> music to the talk....

MK> Opposite for me or at least as it pertains to Radio One. I could
MK> probably say the same for the BBC except it's been too many decades
MK> since I've heard anything coming from the direction.

As I've not been listening to either, I'd not know how I'd like or not
like them... I've heard good about the classical music on the BBC
radio... and sometimes listen to a commercial station out of Toronto
that has classical music.... but that's about all...

MK> I used to love listening to the "The Goonies" way back when - 1960's
MK> if I am not mistaken.

   Was that on the BBC....?

MK>> I used to love listening to the "The Goonies"

MK> "The Goon Show". I just looked it up.

Ah... I remember hearing about that.... don't know if I ever had the
occasion to listen to it, though....

MK>> way back when - 1960's if I am not mistaken.

MK> Actually the last show was in 1960 so I must have been hearing
MK> rebroadcasts. I haven't heard it since back then ... whenever 'back
MK> then' was but sometime in the 1960's for sure. I haven't heard it
    MK> since.

Have there been any more recent rebroadcasts, do you know...? Had I
heard any, they would likely have been late 60's, early 70's, when I was
in college, and exposed to a lot more different things...
