   I'd guess it has a catchy tune, to go with the lyrics....?  That's as   
   likely as anything to make it succeed as a TV theme song... and it not   
   having anything to do with gangsters might have fed into that, by   
   encouraging people to not think of the Sopranos as the bad guys so   
   much....?
