Hey Sean!               SD> I'm a little biased towards MBSE              So I've noticed.               SD> OS/2 has shown its age              It just barely made it into the 21st century before IBM sold it, according to       Wikipedia 15 years ago. The last version I tried was more than 20 years ago       in 1996-ish. There was problems booting it on a 2G drive on a 486 at the time       due to bios issues so that machine went pure Linux.               SD> While I do miss some things about Max/2 and OS/2              I think that might have been the ultimate BBS.               SD> the benefits outweigh the negatives for running under Linux.              Agreed. However I haven't actually ran a BBS since making the switch other       than a brief flirt with Maximus via dosemu. Due to dosemu issues as well as       the lack of callers it never stood much of a chance.               SD> we need to document where we've been and hopefully that will help        SD> us where we're going              pktheader. It seems to me that the 2+ version never did get properly       documented despite it being the defacto standard since roughly 2000-ish. As       for where Fidonet is going it seems to have been stuck for a number of decades       now.              Life is good,       Maurice              ... Don't cry for me I have vi.       --- GNU bash, version 4.4.12(1)-release (x86_64-silvermont-linux-gnu)        * Origin: Little Mikey's Brain - Ladysmith BC, Canada (1:153/7001)    |
