Hey Nicholas!               NB> it hangs on boot because it doesn't recognize any operating        NB> system. Wierd stuff, I tell ya!              Yes it is. I am betting it has something to do with (U)EFI in the bios. Also       HP likes to do things differently without informing anybody that matters. I       haven't had a HP server for a couple decades now but I do recall the last one       being a real pain until I finally got it straight, and then it was rock       solid. That would have been in the mid to late 1990's so it has been awhile       and there was no (U)EFI crap back then.               NB> I plan on having one VM dedicated to a media server.              That makes sense given what little I know about your network there.               NB> Unless I keep it clean and wipe what I *think* we're done with        NB> (probably only to find out later we weren't really done with it).              Heh, heh. Good luck with that.               NB> it will take extra long since I need to go through the entire book              Understood. Take your time. I see no need for rushing.              Life is good,       Maurice              ... Don't cry for me I have vi.       --- GNU bash, version 4.4.12(1)-release (x86_64-silvermont-linux-gnu)        * Origin: Little Mikey's Brain - Ladysmith BC, Canada (1:153/7001)    |
