   OK, I'll grant you that sometimes past experience gives a clue as to   
   what might prove helpful down the line as well... especially when it is   
   adding to accumulated knowledge....  :)

   Once in a while things get accomplished serendipitously as well...     
   I'll agree that stubbornness/stick-to-itiveness is often a major factor
