   HI there,

FOund one of GOrd's old posts, artware products
descriptions, complete filenames for both. Doesn't list the y2k patches and
key distribution stuff however. Been the
listing you posted and GOrd's list i'll put something
together for a twice yearly autopost.

About the only thing I'm not seeing in my msg base for this
echo is a good sampling of where to find stuff. I know I
can list your system or could.

What I need from sysops carrying artware products for such a listing:

mEthods of transfer you support, i.e. pots standard freq,
ftp, email freq. Any restrictions on access, such as listed only for file
request via pots or vmodem, etc.
A posting in the echo will help, if addressed to me
personally it'll get my attention. I'll boil it all down
   and go from there.
fOlks don't need to give me file names, since between your
list and Gord's posting I've got a comprehensive list pretty well covered. IT
would be helpful to post which artware
products are available from the various system.
I'd do a quick and dirty. For example,
   x:666/zzzz ftp: somewhere.org/pub/ftn, standard file
requests, listed only; timed, netmgr, wimm

I'm hoping to have a preliminary list of distribution files
and program names, etc. ready for day 180 autopost. We'll
see what happens on the "where to get" question.

   RW> Thanks for your help.

   DH> My pleasure!

TEAmwork always gets it done friend. Thanks a bunch, again!

   Regards,
              Richard
