Hi! mark,              On Wed, 22 Aug 12, you wrote to me:               PQ>> Have you dabbled with vBox yet?               ml> no, i haven't... don't know what i'd run it on... no machines with        ml> over 768Meg RAM other than my laptop or my dad's machine and i don't        ml> want to go goofing with them too much ;)              My vBox for Fido is only allowed 128Meg RAM. Same with the other one running       my POP3/SMTP/LAN-side HTTP server. That's why I still run Win98SE. Low       requirement for RAM.              Let's see... Ubuntu only requires 512Meg last I looked. There'd be some       overhead sure. vBox would require some for itself, and a meg for eack vBox it       rus IIRC. You might just do it.              Alternatively, Puppy Linux needs only ~100Meg RAM for itself. I used to run       Puppy+vBox on an old P-III (which is itself now a vBox running in Ubuntu).        There's a few extra steps doin' in with Puppy, though.              Cheers,       Paul.              ---         * Origin: Hire a teenager while they still know it all.
