|    Dialing Strings in Radius?    |

Hi! Kurt,              On 3/06/2015 4:05 PM,you wrote:               KW> I dug up a modem and have tested calling out to some other nodes; it's       nice        KW> hearing those tones again!              :) I envy you. Alas, there is no longer a modem hooked up.               KW> I tried calling an international number and Radius only dials the        KW> number in the nodelist. I'll need to figure out a way to stuff digits        KW> in for international calls and lop off the local area code before        KW> dialing.              It's been a long time since my Radius was used for POTS. I think it's only       ever called _once_, and that was an accidental call to the Ukraine. :)               KW> FD and Binkleyterm used to compile dialing information into the        KW> nodelist; how can I modify the numbers in Radius' nodelist to reflect        KW> the number to be dialed?              Have a look at Radius' Config-->Nodelist-->Phones(tab). That's where you can       do some pattern matching and changes. If your help system works in Radius,       then use that. Mine only has some pattern changes to reflect dialing in Z3,       and some others to prevent dialing weird '000' style numbers.              Cheers,       Paul.              --- Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/31.7.0        * Origin: Paul's Puppy 4.2.1 multiuser vBox - M'boro, Qld, OZ (3:640/1384)    |
