Hi! Steven,              On 01 Feb 12 13:21, you wrote to All:               SL> today i added a telnet node:        SL> "someone.dyndns.org"_24553,cm,telnet        SL> in the ipdaemon i removed the requirement for bnd               SL> i make a crashcall to him        SL> it never starts the call               SL> is telnet not supported for outgoing calls in radius        SL> should i therefore move to taurus              Nope, it won't help either. I had exactly the same problem with Argus about       10 years ago. Keep in mind that the mailer talks only the 'nodelist language'       when attempting _pattern_matching_ for node entries & overrides. Telnet is       represented how in the nodelist? Yes, the ITN flag. =:)              So, replace the 'telnet' word up there with ITN instead and it should work.       You may even find that the really old flag TEL could still work as well, which       Argus used to.              Back all those 10 years I was all set to make a more drastic change than       yours; I was contempating throwing away all my Windows & DOS stuff and was set       to install OS/2.[Eeek!]              Cheers,       Paul.              ...
