Funny Old Stuff              Hi Phil, I loved the story that Sheila D. sent in last week about the doves       escaping from the hawk and ending up in her kitchen. My funny story is about       my granddaughter, Mia, who had a love of dinosaurs from the time she was about       2 years old. She knew more about dinosaurs than I could imagine, and could       pronounce every one of them. Her parents would read dinosaur book after       dinosaur book to her. There was a dinosaur exhibit near my house so I took       her to see it. She must have been about 3 1/2 years old at the time. The       dinosaurs were all very lifelike. Mia was mesmerized by all of them as they       were animatronic and produced various roars and sounds and movements. While       she was looking around, a boy of about 8 or 9 years old walked in and was       scared when the triceratops moved and made a noise. He started to cry. With       that, Mia ran over to him, patted him on the back and said "Don't be scared,       it's not real, besides, it's a triceratops and they were herbavores anyway so       he wouldn't have eaten us even if he was alive." Patti W."              Do you have a funny family story you would like to share? These stories can       bring a smile to someone's face and in this day and age, can't we all use a       smile? Make someone feel good by sharing it with us. Send it to       phil@bignews.biz and we may publish it here.              -----------------------------------------------------------------              --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Dada-1        * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38)    |
