We received these responses about toys that are missed:              "I wish I still had my Chatty Cathy doll. One time I left her in the car       during a cold night and the next morning when I pulled her cord the cold made       the mechanism work slowly and she sounded like she had laryngitis. I was sure       I hurt my doll beyond repair. When I was in high school I gave her and my       Barbie dolls to a friend's young daughter to play with. How I wish I hadn't.        I later asked if she still had the doll and if I could have it back if she was       done playing with it, but she did not. Lorrie R."              " Hi Phil, On my 5th birthday, I got a Sister Belle doll. I loved her to       bits...literally. When I was around 10 years old, I came home to discover       that my mother had done some cleaning and my poor, battered Sister Belle was       gone. I accepted that she was unfixable and moved on. In my 20's I started       to collect dolls and at a show, I found a perfect Sister Belle! She now lives       in a cabinet for safe keeping with her Brother Mattie (whom I did not have as       a child, but figured she needed company). Seeing a Sister Belle doll on "Mad       Men" (Don's daughter, Sally, was shown playing with hers in a couple of       scenes) made me squeal like the five year old I used to be and also made me       appreciate the effort the show made to get the period details right (rather       than using just any generic doll, I mean) Thanks for the newsletter. Julie"              "Phil, In 1955 when I was about 3 years old I received a Wonder Horse hobby       horse for Christmas. I named him "Smokey" and together we rode many miles &       had many adventures. As I grew older I moved on to real horses & Smokey       became the mount of my younger brothers & sister until they also outgrew him.        Smokey was retired to the attic for a few years until the next generation came       long & then the next. So far 3 generations of my family has ridden my hobby       horse. He was made of quality material and is still in good condition. I       always smile when I think of him. It measures 1" x 3/4" x 1/2". It is       hammered sterling silver and is marked STG PJ. Is this a necklace pendant?        Any idea who PJ is? I feel like this is a part to something but can't figure       out what. Help!
