Sweet Deviled Eggs              6 large eggs       ice cubes       3 tablespoons mayonnaise       1 tablespoon white sugar       1 teaspoon honey mustard       1 teaspoon vinegar       1/2 teaspoon salt       1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper       1 pinch paprika, for garnish              Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, remove from       heat, and let eggs stand in hot water for 15 minutes. Remove eggs from hot       water and place in a bowl of ice water. Peel.              Slice eggs in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and transfer to a bowl; mash with       a fork or pastry blender until yolks resemble powder. Stir mayonnaise, sugar,       honey mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper into yolks until smooth. Spoon yolk       mixture into the egg whites and lightly sprinkle with paprika. Chill before       serving.              Carol T                     9. As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods       from their past. Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to       help people who are looking for lost recipes from their past. If you submit a       request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.        If you have a vintage recipe request send it to recipes@tias.com and we might       just publish it here.              TIAS.com merchants have well over 4,000 cookbooks for sale! You can       see them here: http://www.tias.com/books/cooking/              Be sure to check out our vintage kitchen collectibles section online at:       http://www.tias.com/showcase/1/Kitchen_Collectibles/1.html              Jerilynn sent in this request:              My grandmother used to make a cake with fruit cocktail (canned I think). It       was super moist, and I think we topped it with Cool Whip. I don't know if she       used a box mix or a scratch recipe. This was back in the latter part of the       60s. Does anyone have this recipe?              Email recipes@tias.com if you can help our readers find these recipes!       --------------------------              --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Dada-2        * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38)    |
