      8. A Vintage Recipe              Be sure to check out our vintage recipe archive online at: http:       /bit.ly/1vDXn6h. Over 1200 wonderful vintage recipes are listed.              Here's a classic Green Bean Casserole from the 1975 Cambell's Cooking With       Soup cookbook:              1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed cream of chicken or mushroom soup 1 teaspoon       soy sauce       1 can (3 1/2 ounces) French fried onions 3 cups cooked French style greem       beans (or two 10-ounce packages        frozen, or two 1-pound cans), drained       Dash pepper              In 1-quart casserole (our sellers offer over 1400 casseroles! ht       p://www.tias.com/simple_search/casserole/), stir soup and soy sauce until       smooth; mix in 1/2 can onions, beans, and pepper. Bake in 350 degree oven 20       minutes or until bubbling. Top with remaining onions. Bake 5 minutes more.        6 servings.                     9. As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods       from their past. Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to       help people who are looking for lost recipes from their past. If you submit a       request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.              If you have a vintage recipe request send it to recipes@tias.com and we might       just publish it here.              TIAS.com merchants have well over 4,000 cookbooks for sale! You can       see them here: http://www.tias.com/books/cooking/              Be sure to check out our vintage kitchen collectibles section online at:       http://www.tias.com/showcase/1/Kitchen_Collectibles/1.html              Here are two requests from readers:              "I have always loved the pizza from Jerry's Pizza in Mt. Pleasant, IA because       they have the best thin cracker crust I've ever had. Does anyone have a       recipe for a crust like this? Thanks!! Cindy R."                     "I'll never forget an asparagus dish which my Aunt Annie served in Birmingham,       AL, probably in the late sixties. It had boiled eggs and a sharp cheese       sauce. Would love to be able to re-create that yumminess. Janet B.        Atlanta,GA"       --------------------------              --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Dada-1        * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38)    |
