Be sure to check out our vintage recipe archive online at: http:
   /www.tias.com/newsletter/topics/A%20Vintage%20Recipe.html Over 1200 wonderful
   vintage recipes are listed.

Note - the recipes are submitted by fellow Collectors Newsletter readers and
are not checked for accuracy or tested by the TIAS staff. Keep in mind that
many of these recipes were created at a time when there were no worries about
such things as raw eggs, for example - so modern kitchen safety should prevail.

   9. As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods
from their past. Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to
help people who are looking for lost recipes from their past. If you submit a
request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.

Darlene F sent in this request:

   Hi,

I met a woman in Hawaii years ago who made a delightful jello. It was called
Avocado Jello. I moved a few times and lost the recipe in the process. Does
anyone know someone or has a recipe for avocado jello?

   Thank you.

   Darlene F, Oregon.

If you have a vintage recipe request send it to recipes@tias.com and we might
   just publish it here.

TIAS.com merchants have well over 4,000 cookbooks for sale! You can
