We had quite a few       responses, all similar but allsounding delicious. Here are a couple of them:       This one is from ShirleyM.       Lemon Bars       2 Cups flour CÇô unsifted       1 Cup margarine or butter       1/2 Cup powdered sugar CÇô unsifted Mix flour and sugar and cut in butter.        Pat firmly into 13CÇØ X 9CÇØ pan. Build up slightly on edge. Bake 15-20       minutes at 350 degrees F (325 F if glass dish)       4 eggs, well-beaten       2 cups sugar       4tbsp flour juice of 2 lemons (6Tbsp) Beat all ingredients together and pour       over crust. Bake 25 minutes more at 350 F. When cool, sprinkle withpowdered       sugar.              And here's another, this one from Carol H.: "Our lemontree is always full so       I've tried lots of lemon recipes and we love this lemon bar recipe the best".        LEMON BARS 2 1/4 cups flour, divided 1/2 pound butter, softened 3/4 cup       confectionerCÇÖs sugar, divided 4 eggs 2 cups sugar 2/3 cup lemon juice Grease       a 9 by 13CÇØ pan. In a medium bowl,mix 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup       confectionerCÇÖs sugar. Work in the butterwith your hands to make a dough.        With lightly floured fingertips, pressdough firmly to the bottom of the pan.        Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20minutes until firm to the touch. Meanwhile, beat       the eggs lightly in asmall bowl. Stir in the granulated sugar and remaining       1/4 cup flouruntil well blended. Stir in lemon juice. Pour lemon filling       over baked crust. Bake for 20-25 minutes longer until topping is set and       golden.Cool completely. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup confectionerCÇÖs       sugar,sifting if lumpy.              ------------              10. A vintage recipe request from areader:              "Hi, I saw last week's request for lemon bars for Father's Day sohere's my       request, also so I can make it for my Dad on Father's Day. Does anyone have a       great recipe for those rainbow colored little cakes(cookies?) that had       chocolate on the top and bottom and then red, yellowand green layers in the       middle, and jelly or jam between the layers aswell?
