Last week we referred to a press release announcing that one of Lady Gaga's       fingernails is up for auction. We asked how you feel about things like       fingernnails or underware or a celebrity's hair being put up for auction?       Would you want a piece of your favorite movie star or celebrity?              Mary F. wrote: "This is something I have never understood. People who do must       not value money."              Leah D. wrote "My Mom told me about the issue regarding an auction for lady       gaga's fingernail. I'm 22 and love Lady Gaga but what would I ever do with       her fingernail? I have so many other things that I would want to spend my       money on."              Addie A. writes: "First of all, I think it is ridiculous to even buy things       like fingernails or hair that is supposedly from some celebrity, but even to       those who do buy those things- how do you know it's legit unless you have your       own DNA testing capabilities :) !"              Send your story to: Phil@bignews.biz              If you have an opinion in reference to the above topic, we'd love to hear from       you! Please send it to: Phil@BigNews.biz and maybe we will run your opinion       in an upcoming newsletter.       ----              A request for identification:       "My grandparents had these pictures in their home back to at least when I was       a baby in 1941. My gr-grandparents came over from Ireland. I was told by an       authoritive person that they are original colored pencil drawings. What I       cannot make out is the signature on either of them. It appears to be done in       pencil with what appears to be some CÇ£mCÇØs but no matter who ICÇÖve asked or       how much I try with a magnifying glass I just canCÇÖt make it out. Are you       able to help? I know it does not appear to be clear but you are seeing what I       see. Thank you for any help you can give. Mary"              You can see photos of Mary's paintings, and the artist's signature, on our       facebook page, just copy and paste this link into your browser:        ttp://on.fb.me/110jpxX       -----              Next request for identification help: "Hi Phil - love the newsletter and have       been a subscriber for many years. I am sure this is a common vintage kitchen       tool and obviously from the condition it was used extensively. We just do not       know what its purpose might have been. Thought perhaps you or one (or more)       of your other readers might be able to identify it. Thank you, Jeanne A."              To see three photos of Jeanne's gadget on our facebook page, copy and paste       this link into your browser: http://on.fb.me/16mVIZz       -----       Do you have an item in your collection that you need help identifying or just       would like to share with our readers? Drop me an email with a photo attached       and we'll include it in our newsletter and on our Facebook page. Send them to       me at phil@Bignews.biz       -----              We have even more interesting items that need to be identified. They will be       posted in our next newsletter and on facebook within the upcoming weeks.       ---------------------              -----------------------------------------------------------------              --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Dada-1        * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38)    |
