As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods       from their past. Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to       help people who are looking for lost recipes from their past. If you submit a       request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.              A reader wants to know if anyone has a recipe for Chicken en Croute. She had       it at a restaurant in Birmingham, MI in the 80s or 90s (Alban's Bottle &       Basket) which is now closed. It had spinach, mushroom and chicken in a cheesy       sort of sauce inside, with the same cheesy sauce over the puff pastry. It       didn't have sun dried tomatoes or mozzarella, like most of the recipes she's       found on the internet.       --       If you have a vintage recipe request send it to recipes@tias.com and we might       just publish it here.              TIAS.com merchants have well over 4,000 cookbooks for sale!
