Here are some of the comments we received:              "I loved Myrna's cleverly written and informative article about her business       and the people she has met over the years...both the crazies and the folks she       has enjoyed. She displays a wonderful sense of humor, essential to being in       an interactive business. Her willingness to give of her knowledge and talents       blesses others; and her great sense of humor gets her through the rough       spots. Thank you, Myrna, for the lessons you have shared with me today.        Charlotte in Temecula"              "I just read your newsletter from the person who had stories to tell        about impossible people and friends she has made selling. Years ago        my mother-in-law finally decided to let go of my father-in-laws coin        collection. I starting selling the coins (mostly Morgans) and one        person was buying all that I listed. He happened to be out of town        when one ended and did not win the bid. I mailed the coin off and        the buyer was not happy and wanted a refund. Coins are all about        condtion condition condition and since I was not an expert I did my        best with pictures. The down side was I was not sure this person        actually sent back the original coin. I ended contacting the person        who was buying all the other coins and my husband and I ended        traveling halfway and meeting him and his wife to sell the rest of        the coins to him. My husband and him to this day still keep in        contact and we always enjoy hearing from him. I have also made lots        of friends going to the sales and one woman and I talk 3 or 4 times        a week and our spouses and I meet for dinner at least once a month.        I also have had mean and rude people who are just plain nasty and        you really wonder what drives these people. When this happens I say        I am not going to sell anymore but then I will get an e-mail telling        my how happy they are and why they wanted this item. --- They had        got one of these in settling the estate and wanted one for their        sister, or they had a lamp from their Grandmother and this was a        match so they now had a pair. I do not get these stories very often        but when I do it warms my heart. Paulette "              "I agree 200% with www.dinnerwarereplacements.net. On more than one       occasion, a buyer has emailed me to tell me the item arrived broken, cracked,       with cracks, with chips, etc. Invariably they will ask me how I would like to       handle the problem. Invariably I ask the buyer to send me an email picture of       the damage. Invariably I never heard from them again. 'Nuff said!"              https://www.facebook.com/TIASAntiques/posts/10203889741139443              Interesting comment from the anonymous respondent about claims of damage. As       a seller, how do you handle these claims? As a buyer, how do you handle       damaged items with regard to approaching the seller?              "Puzzled? I have loved the challenge of jigsaw puzzles ever since I was a       child. My favorite was a 5,000-piece Springbok beauty featuring stained glass       patterns. Not only are puzzles a fun way to unwind (especially when there       isn't a thing to watch on television), jigsaw puzzles make for quality time       with the kids or grandkids.              But what to do with those puzzles once they're assembled?? I have my favorite       completed puzzles glued and displayed on the walls in my laundry room. James       Dean; serene seashore scenes (say THAT one three times fast); fields of       flowers; assorted marbles - they all make me smile each time I see them. I       took a mixture of water and white glue and painted each side of the puzzle to       seal it. Then I used a strong adhesive glue to secure the puzzle to the       wall. You can also frame your puzzle using a poster-style metal frame.              I carry a large variety of jigsaw puzzles at Tennessee Antique as do       - many of the other fine dealers of the TIAS.com family.
