   8. As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods
from their past. Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to
help people who are looking for lost recipes from their past. If you submit a
request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.

In addition to the request for a recipe for dandelion wine above, we have two
   other requests this week.

"I'm looking for an old recipe for soft molasses cookies? These are my
brother's favorite cookies & were made for him as a child, in the 50's, by an
old woman in Grindstone City, MI. They were a soft, cake-like cookie & so
tasty! All the recipes I find now seem to be a crisp cookie. Hoping someone
has this recipe . Thank you, Sherryn F"

"I was wondering if someone has a fool-proof recipe of Nockerl, an Austrian
dish. My granma used to make them and then I tried them in Vienna. Love
them! By the way a pie plant is a garden rhubarb.I hope somebody can help
   me.Patricia C., Buenos Aires, Argentina"
