   One of our readers sent this in. There are no markings on the bottom. Any idea   
   of the history/time frame for these?  "I am attaching a photo of some   
   [sectioned plates] that I have with teacups to match. I think they are   
   Japanese sushi plates.  They are very interesting to me because there is a   
   spot to put a cigarette right on the plate. Please help me if you know   
   anything about this or can direct me to someone who can tell me about them.  I

   It was from my grandfathers farm in Nebraska. It was some of his stuff that he   
   left to the grandchildren.  I know that my great grandparents used to host
