   Follow up: Robert M. found what looks to be a brass charm of an old gumball   
   machine, with a metal detector in the Los Angeles area recently.  We had many   
   comments from fellow collectors on our Facebook page.  Robert posted this on   
   Wednesday: " I sent an email to Oak Mfg and they told me it is a medallion   
   reproduction of a machine they made in the 70's.  Mystery is now solved." To
