One read wrote: "I       searched on the internet, using "vintage scrapple recipe" and there a quite a       few different recipes online. Perhaps Lyle can take a look at those to see if       anything sounds familiar."       --       Tired and REtired Sandi C was looking for a simple but elegant dessert from       the 1970s. Joan H. sent this and hopes it's what Sandi is looking for:       Chocolate Chip Dessert       3 6oz pks choc. chips       6 eggs, separated       1 T sugar       1 pint cream, whipped       1tspn vanilla              Melt choc. chips in top of double boiler. Beat egg yolks and sugar until lemon       colored, then add melted choc. to yolks Whip egg whites until light anf fluffy       and fold into choc. mixture Fold that into the whipped cream, adding vanilla              This can be poured into parfait or sherbet glasses, or into a baked pie       shell.
