Two weeks ago, a reader was looking for a fluffly dumpling recipe. Here's
   another suggestion for our reader:

"For the person who was trying to replicate her grandmother's dumplings, you
might suggest to her that she pick up a package of matzoh meal (readily
available this time of year) in the grocery store. On the back of the box is
a recipe for those fluffy matzoh balls (dumplings). Good luck" ... Robbin,
   Dayton, OH

Last week a reader asked for a good (vintage) recipe for Sloppy Joes. We had
a number of responses, and hopefully one of these two recipes will bring back
memories for Jennie from CA. Thank you to everyone who took the time to
   submit their recipes!

   10. A vintage recipe request from a reader:

This week we a request for an Easter-related recipes:

   From Alice in Venice, FL:
When I lived in MI, I had a neighbor who made a ham glaze with Vernors (a
local gingerale) and other ingredients. Anyone from that area have a recipe?

If you can help this reader with this recipe, please forward it to
   recipes@tias.com.

As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods from
their past. Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to help
people who are looking for lost recipes from their past. If you submit a
request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.

If you have a vintage recipe request send it to recipes@tias.com and we might
   just publish it here.
