In response to a question from two weeks ago which asked about an item   
   invoking powerful memories, we received another response:   
      
   "....My "story" is about my Grandma Moore.  In the 1980's when potpourri was   
   so popular, shops and boutiques sprang up selling "mix your own".  You could   
   choose from the different bins and create your own special "scent".  I was   
   just browsing and stopped in front of a bin and suddenly tears started running   
   down my face as if a faucet was turned on!!!  There was no conscious thought   
   of anything.  When I looked at the label, it was lavender.  My grandma used to   
   make "sachets" from squares of cloth, tied with a ribbon which were put in   
   drawers to scent them.  I used to open the drawers and sniff the "sachets".    
   Grandma Moore had been gone for over 30 years at the time!  Linda M."

   A request for identification:  "Hi Phil, I have this set of four little bowls   
   that were made in the USSR.  They are about 4" wide and 2" high.  I'm not sure   
   when they were bought, but I am going to take a guess that it was in the   
   70's.  I'm wondering if anyone would know anything about them or if they are
