As with collectibles, people also have very strong feelings about foods from
their past. Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to
help people who are looking for lost recipes from their past. If you submit a
request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.
If you have a vintage recipe request send it to recipes@tias.com and we might
   just publish it here.

TIAS.com merchants have thousands of cookbooks for sale! You can
   see them here: http://www.tias.com/books/cooking/

Here's another recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens 1965 ring binder
   cookbook.

   Yankee Red-flannet Hash
Lightly toss together 1 1/2 cups finely chopped canned or cooked corned beet,
3 cups finely chopped cooked potatoes, 1 1/2 cups finetly chopped cooked or
canned beets, and 1/3 cup finely chopped onion.

Add 1/3 cup milk, 1 teaspoon salt, and few drops Tabasco sauce; season to
taste with more salt and pepper, if needed.

Melt 3 to 4 tablespoons fat in skillet; spread hash evenly over bottom. Cook
over medium heat until underneath side is brown and crusty. Makes 4 servings.

Email recipes@tias.com if you have a vintage recipe you'd like to share or if
   you're looking for a recipe!
