their past. Sometimes these special recipes get lost. This section is to
help people who are looking for lost recipes from their past. If you submit a
request, please include the geographical region where you tasted the recipe.
If you have a vintage recipe request send it to recipes@tias.com and we might
   just publish it here.

Here's a recipe from the "Potatoes" section of a 1959 Farm Journal's Country
   Cookbook:

   Sweet Potato Souffle
   "Just right for hungry people"

   1 lb. bulk pork sausage
3 c. cooked sweet potatoes or yams
   1/4 c. brown sugar
   1 tsp. salt
   1/8 tsp. pepper
   1/4 tsp. nutmeg
   2 tblsp. butter or margarine
   1 egg
   1 c. crushed pineapple

Break sausage into pieces; brown over low head in heave skillet. Drain off fat.

Combined remaining ingredients in large bowl; beat with rotary beater until
   fluffy. Stir in crisp sausage.

Drop in mounds on greased baking sheet. Bake in moderate over (375 degrees) 25
   minutes. Makes 6 servings.

Email recipes@tias.com if you have a vintage recipe you'd like to share or if
   you're looking for a recipe!
