You can       see them here: http://www.tias.com/books/cooking/              Be sure to check out our vintage kitchen collectibles section online at:       http://www.tias.com/showcase/1/Kitchen_Collectibles/1.html              Here's a recipe from the "Potatoes" section of a 1959 Farm Journal's Country       Cookbook:              Sweet Potato Souffle       "Just right for hungry people"              1 lb. bulk pork sausage       3 c. cooked sweet potatoes or yams       1/4 c. brown sugar       1 tsp. salt       1/8 tsp. pepper       1/4 tsp. nutmeg       2 tblsp. butter or margarine       1 egg       1 c. crushed pineapple              Break sausage into pieces; brown over low head in heave skillet. Drain off fat.              Combined remaining ingredients in large bowl; beat with rotary beater until       fluffy. Stir in crisp sausage.              Drop in mounds on greased baking sheet. Bake in moderate over (375 degrees) 25       minutes.
